Hi, This is caused by a missing System.Drawing.Common dependency. In .NET 6+ (including .NET 8), this library isn’t included by default and only works properly on Windows. When you install Aspose.Words from the official NuGet, all dependencies are resolved automatically. In manually copied versions, this DLL is often missing. Quick fix: dotnet add package System.Drawing.Common Also make sure you’re running on Windows and using the correct net8.0 files.


Thanks, that problem disappeared. But another one appeared during testing. Simple files with tables convert fine, but some Docx files with images don't convert and an error appears. Could not load type 'System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingServices' from assembly 'mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' The problem is that it doesn't exist in .Net 5+.
