Micro Focus Application lifecycle management (ALM) is a group of software tools created and promoted by Micro Focus (formerly Hewlett-Packard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise) for program testing and development. It features tools for requirements management, test preparation and operational testing, performance testing (when combined with Performance Center), programmer direction (via integration with programmer environments like Collabnet, TeamForge, and Microsoft Visual Studio), and defect management.
ALM was made to support critical stakeholders responsible for providing software as they advance through their lifecycle. It's a combo of a frequent platform, several important programs, plus a dashboard aimed at handling the heart lifecycle of programs, from design via openness for delivery to surgeries. Every one of these core lifecycle tasks is linked together by way of a workflow standpoint with a frequent management console, coating of job monitoring and preparation, and assembled on a regular software base comprising a constant repository and open integration structure using a supported SDK.
